How fit is your business?

Much like our own physical fitness, businesses need to think about how fit they are to adapt to changing conditions and grow their business. You may be a CEO, COO, CFO, or CHRO who knows there are areas putting a strain on your growth, the heart of your business; but are uncertain where to prioritize or how to improve.

“Success today requires the agility and drive to constantly rethink, reinvigorate, react, and reinvent” Bill Gates

I’ve worked with many organizations who became complacent with the status quo. Over the years, they implemented complex manual processes to run their business and amassed large hierarchical organizational structures that are hindering their ability to grow fast. Many of these businesses had efficiency ratios in the single digits.

When we assess the efficiency of organizations, we are able to find where the blockages are occurring; be it culturally, structurally or due to other underlying practices that are impacting performance.

Many of us have an annual physical (or should). This is absolutely critical in understanding the state of our health.

Why then wouldn’t you do the same for your business?

To be adaptive and agile, your business needs to flow freely and seamlessly. Assessing your process and organizational efficiency is an essential part of discovering what areas are blocking your business’s arteries. This provides the opportunity for you to then create a fitness plan that will improve the health of your business and enable it to thrive and grow exponentially.
